shiki Brand Movie

shiki is a "food design firm" that rediscovers the value lying dormant in the land, reweaves its context and delivers it to people. Timed with an update to its flagship brand soyogi, we created a corporate brand movie.

We visited Shimanto in Kochi Prefecture, where the ginger essential to soyogi is grown, and captured its majestic nature, the work of the land, and the ingredients and everyday lives born there, all through the eyes of the protagonist. The breeze that begins to blow between the land and its people eventually reaches cafés and restaurants in Tokyo. The film evokes the sense that, in the wind shiki stirs up, familiar scenery is starting to look different.

shiki has been our partner ever since they designed the interior of IDENCE's office when we moved. In filming, we aimed for a texture in which the warmth of the land and the realness of working hands sit alongside the cleanliness and refinement of a brand.
